Consultant Job | Responsibilities
Help customers optimize their cloud costs and understand how they align with their business goals.
Provide cost optimization opportunities for customers and internal teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams to provide excellent customer support.
Lead regular calls to provide expert advice and consulting on cloud financial management activities.
Analyze data and create quantitative financial models to forecast spend, efficiency, savings, and other metrics.
Configure and manage cloud services.
- Create and update internal documentation on FinOps, cost optimization, and customer environments.
Consultant Job | Experience and Skills -
Self-starter with the ability to work in a team to provide superior customer service
Effective communicator with the capacity to foster consensus among stakeholders, ranging from entry level to C-suite, representing various departments with competing goals
Ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams to provide the best experience for our customers
Ability to analyze and produce meaningful insights from large datasets
Ability to manage time effectively to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical background with an aptitude for technology.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of billing and expense management tools and procedures used by at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with the tools, services, and architectures of at least one of the main cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in utilising third-party cloud cost optimisation tools such as CloudCheckr, CloudHealth, and Cloudability
